Thesis Things

Welcome to a bit of a new thing I’m doing in this space.  As you may have gathered from various and sundry references, Spring 2012 is the last semester of my masters program, and I’m spending it writing my thesis.  It’s a big project, the largest piece of sustained academic writing I’ve thus far been tasked to write.  And so, like any big project undertaken by this child of the internet, I’m going to blog about it!

My hope is that, when I’m done, this series will serve as a journal of the experience, both for my reference and for anyone who might be interested in the process.  It will also be peppered with all kinds of interesting fragments of information on my topic.

Posts thus far:

My day at the Morgan / VMM: The Silent Films of Anita Loos / Research round-up no. 1 / VMM: Intolerance Research round-up no. 2 /  VMM: Blondie of the Follies / The Limits of “Sympathy”: Franzen on Wharton / Research round-up no. 3 / VMM: Red-Headed Woman / Reinterpreting Jazz Age Standards
